Common questions
How do we play together?
Choose Explore the games, select a table, choose the available number of players, and begin. Everyone plays on the same device. For card games, pass the device to the named player before revealing their hand. Player limits vary from two to six; chess can also be played alone against the computer.
Does it need the internet?
Games work offline. Internet access is needed to download or update the app, open these support pages, send email or share records through an online destination. There is no online matchmaking or cloud game synchronization.
How do I resume or replace a saved match?
Return to the collection and choose a bookmarked game to resume. Choose Set up a new match from the game’s options to replace its current table. Matches save automatically on this device; they are not synchronized to another device.
Where are the rules?
Use the question-mark button while playing. Each guide describes the implemented variant. Five Dice is Parlour’s casual thirteen-category variant; Go uses a nine-by-nine board with area scoring and positional superko.
How do I make the board easier to use?
Rotate the device for a wider table. Public board games provide coordinate-based move controls through the hand button. Chess has an Accessible 2D board option in Table studio. Focus mode expands public tables; use the focus control or match options to return.
Why is my card hand hidden?
The app conceals hands when turns change or the app becomes inactive. Check the player name, pass the device to that person, then tap Reveal. Keeping everyone on one shared device makes these handoffs part of play.
Which games have computer opponents?
Chess has three local computer levels and hints. The other nineteen games are for people playing together on one device.
What if a game does not save?
Parlour displays a save warning if device storage is unavailable. Free storage and reopen the app. If a saved file cannot be read, the app attempts to recover its previous verified save. Contact support before deleting the app if you want help preserving your current tables.
How do I delete my local data?
On iPhone or iPad, use Settings → General → iPhone/iPad Storage → Parlour → Delete App. Offload App retains your data. Exported records and device backups must be removed separately. See the privacy policy.
