PARLOUR

Your table. Your device.

Privacy policy

Effective 12 October 2026. Parlour is published by Ryan Inglehart. Questions: ryan.inglehart@gmail.com.

Data stays on your device

Parlour does not collect or transmit app usage or game data to its publisher. There are no accounts, advertising, tracking domains, analytics services or third-party analytics SDKs in the app.

The app stores optional player names (which may be nicknames), game positions, cards, dice, moves, clocks, game-night results, and appearance and sound preferences locally. This information lets you play, resume games, undo moves and review results. It is not sent to Ryan Inglehart.

Sharing is your choice

If you choose to export a match using the system share sheet, its player names and move history are included. The selected destination receives that record under its own privacy practices. The app does not automatically upload it. Device backups and system sharing are managed by Apple and your device settings.

Private hands

Private cards are concealed during handoffs and when the app becomes inactive. This helps prevent casual viewing; it does not encrypt the app’s save files or protect them from someone with access to the device.

Retention and removal

Saved tables and preferences remain on your device until replaced or removed. The app keeps a previous verified save for recovery, may preserve unreadable saves locally, and retains up to 500 game-night results. Starting a new match replaces that game’s current saved table, but does not remove every backup or result.

To remove all Parlour data on iPhone or iPad, choose Delete App in Settings → General → iPhone/iPad Storage → Parlour. Offloading the app preserves its data. Separately remove any exported match records or device backups using their destination’s controls. Ryan cannot retrieve or delete game data held only on your device.

Support correspondence

If you email support, Ryan receives your email address and the information you choose to provide, solely to respond to and resolve your request. Do not include private hands, passwords or other sensitive information unless necessary. Support messages are not used for advertising or sold. Contact Ryan to request deletion of your support correspondence; messages may be retained when necessary for an unresolved request or a legal obligation.

Purchases and this website

Apple handles App Store payment and account information under Apple’s privacy policy. Parlour does not receive your payment card details. This website has no advertising or analytics scripts. Its hosting provider may process standard connection information, including IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and secure the pages. Website hosting and email correspondence are separate from data collection inside the app.

Children and changes

The app does not request a date of birth or collect children’s data. Player names are optional. This policy will be updated if the app’s data practices change; the effective date above identifies the current version.
